Crispy, Churchy Fried Baked Chicken
Oh! Are you feeling hungry then you can try this fried or baked chicken recipe. For crispy, yet tender chicken start by frying or baking (whichever you like you can do that either bake or fry) and you can easily cook it in the oven. Soak the chicken overnight or marinate it in the buttermilk. It makes it tender. And put the whole thing in the refrigerator. This is a really delicious recipe and you will also enjoy while cooking this cuisine.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 chickens cut in eight to nine pieces
- 2/3 cup of buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- Vegetable oil
PREPARATION:
After you have marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator take it out and set it aside to reach the normal temperature.
Then first preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Now take the chicken out of the buttermilk and dredge the chicken in the flour mixture. Now put nearly 1 inch oil in a large heavy-bottomed stockpot and heat to 360 degrees.
Then put 4-5 pieces at a time carefully in the oil and fry for about 3 minutes on each side until the coating is a light golden brown. Don’t put all the pieces at a time then it will all be broken. Remove the fried chicken from the oil and place it a tissue paper it will absorb the excess oil. Then again repeat the same process for the rest of the chicken pieces. When all the chicken is fried, bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the chicken is no longer pink inside. Serve hot.
